Lauren Sadoski Killed, Paul Steve Injured in Grimes County Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 6 near CR 317

Grimes County, Texas – One person was killed and another was injured Friday night in a wrong-way crash in Grimes County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 9:00 p.m., January 5, on State Highway 6 near County Road 317.

DPS said a Honda Civic was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the highway when it crashed head-on into a Ford F-350.

The Honda driver, Lauren Sadoski, 24, of Wallis, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ford driver, Paul Steve, 26, of Cypress, was transported to CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Hospital with suspected serious injuries.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
