81-Year-Old Woman Killed in Spring Ambulance Crash on TC Jester and Cypresswood Drive

Spring, Texas (May 2, 2021) – An 81-year-old female patient was killed Friday night in an ambulance crash in Spring, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 11:00 p.m., April 30, at the intersection of TC Jester and Cypresswood Drive.

Deputies said a car ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into an Acadian Ambulance.

The force of the impact caused the ambulance to roll over.

An 81-year-old patient in the ambulance was taken to the hospital, where she later died. 

The ambulance driver and a medic were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

Two people inside the car were also taken to hospitals for treatment. The car driver was listed in critical condition.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
