Corey Rives Identified as Man Killed in Travis County Motorcycle Crash on SH 130

Travis County, Texas (May 17, 2019) – Police have identified the man who died in a motorcycle crash involving a vehicle on Monday night in East Travis County.
Corey Harrison Rives, 34, of Manor, died in the crash that took place at about 11:42 p.m. May 13, in the 100 block of SH 130 near FM 969, according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Rives was operating a 1996 Harley Davidson FDX northbound on SH 130 when he, for unknown reasons, crashed into the back of a semi-truck. The impact ejected Rives from the motorcycle.
Rives sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the crash.
