Mark Manzanares Hit, Killed by vehicle on Cuatro Vientos in Laredo

Mark Manzanares Killed in South Laredo Pedestrian Accident on Cuatro Vientos near Aguanieve

Laredo, Texas – The 15-year-old who was killed Wednesday night after being struck by a vehicle in South Laredo has been identified as Mark Manzanares, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:55 p.m., January 3, on Cuatro Vientos near Aguanieve.

Police said Manzanares was walking with his 22-year-old brother across the street to get to the convenience store when he was struck by a 2019 Dodge Charger driven by Christopher Anthony Perales, 22.

Perales stopped to render aid, called 911 and remained at the scene.

Manzanares was killed in the crash.

Additional information was not available.

The police are investigating the crash.
