One Killed in Reeves County Car Crash on State Highway 302 near Mentone
Reeves County, Texas (April 16, 2019) – A 47-year-old McAllen man was killed early Sunday morning in a three-car-crash in Reeves County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The fatal crash happened at about 12:40 a.m. April 14, on State Highway 302, just southwest of Mentone.
Troopers said the man was driving behind a semi-truck when he attempted to pass the truck and collided head-on with another semi-truck.
The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
