Andrew Jordan Killed in Bosque County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 6

Bosque County, Texas (May 11, 2023) – One person was killed Tuesday afternoon in a rollover crash in Bosque County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 4:34 p.m., May 9, on Highway 6, near Private Road 1040, northwest of Clifton.

DPS said a southbound GMC pickup truck drove onto the wrong side of the roadway and crashed into a Dodge pickup truck, causing both vehicles to roll over.

The GMC driver, 23-year-old Andrew Jordan of Trinity, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Dodge driver was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The crash closed the highway for several hours, and traffic was diverted down FM-2136.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
