Two Men Killed in Moss Hill Two-Vehicle Crash on Trinity River Bridge

Moss Hill, Texas – Two men were killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash near Moss Hill, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened on February 24, just west of the SH 105 Bridge over the Trinity River.

According to the report, a 2007 silver Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound when the driver failed to stay in his lane, traveled into the oncoming traffic, and crashed into an oncoming 2005 Lexus SC 430 driven by a 53-year-old man from Willis.

Two Houston men in the Camry were pronounced dead at the scene. The Lexus driver was airlifted to HCA Kingwood in serious condition. Five other passengers in the two vehicles were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Multiple open containers of alcohol were found inside the Toyota Camry, including one in the lap of the deceased driver.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, pedestrian, 18-wheeler, bicycle, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A. Gordon & Associates, we will act quickly to secure accident scene photos, interview witnesses, obtain police records, and secure other valuable evidence needed to win your case.  Call now for a free consultation.
