Elderly Man Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on San Pedro Avenue

San Antonio, Texas (September 9, 2019) – An elderly man was hit by a vehicle Sunday night in San Antonio, according to a local news release.

The accident took place on Sunday, September 8, in the 6800 block of San Pedro Avenue.

As per the report, the man was walking across the street, outside a crosswalk, when he was hit by a northbound vehicle.

The driver said she didn’t see the man, but recalled hearing a thud and seeing her window broken. She then pulled over in a parking lot across the street from the HEB.

The victim’s condition was not immediately disclosed.

The Traffic Investigations Department is conducting the investigation.
