55-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Multi-Vehicle Crash on Bay Area Boulevard at Space Center Boulevard

Houston, Texas (December 28, 2022) – A woman was killed on December 15 in a multi-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 11:10 a.m., December 15, in the 2300 block of Bay Area Boulevard at the intersection of Space Center Boulevard.

Police said a white Jeep Liberty, a maroon Buick Enclave, a black Mercedes C30, and a silver Lincoln MKX were traveling eastbound and were stopped at a traffic light at the intersection. The driver of a gray Lincoln MKX failed to control their speed and rear-ended the Buick. The force of the impact caused the Buick to hit the silver Lincoln MKX in the next lane. 

The Buick then struck the Mercedes, causing it to hit the Jeep.

The Buick driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released. A male passenger, 80, in the gray Lincoln MKX, was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

The police are investigating the crash.
