Woman Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on NW Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas (February 9, 2021) – A woman was fatally hit by a vehicle Monday night in San Antonio, according to police.

The accident happened just after 10:00 p.m., February 8, on NW Loop 410 eastbound near Alamo Downs Parkway.

Police said the woman was attempting to cross the access road of the highway, outside of a crosswalk, when she was struck by a car. 

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The car driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
