One Killed and One Injured in Fort Bend County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 359

Fort Bend County, Texas (April 5, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured Monday morning in a head-on collision in Fort Bend County, near Richmond, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash was reported around 7:36 a.m. on FM 359, near Settegast Ranch Road.

DPS said two sedans were involved in the crash, and one of them caught fire after the collision.

 One person was killed in the crash.

Another person was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
