Johnny Caddell Killed in Bellmead Three-Vehicle Crash on Loop 340 near Cove Street

Bellmead, Texas (December 30, 2021) – A man was killed in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Bellmead, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred around 5:45 p.m., December 28, on Loop 340 near Cove Street.

Police said Johnny Ray Caddell, of Waco, was driving a Chevy pickup truck eastbound when he struck a vehicle that was stopped and was waiting to make a left turn.

The impact pushed the vehicle into oncoming traffic where it was struck by a third vehicle.

Caddell was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
