46-Year-Old Man Hit, Killed by Vehicle on North Freeway in Houston

46-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Freeway near West Road

Houston, Texas – A 46-year-old man was fatally hit by a vehicle Monday evening in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 8:00 p.m., March 18, on the North Freeway near West Road.

Police said the man darted across the freeway before being struck by a northbound white Nissan Sentra.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver of the vehicle, a 34-year-old woman, remained at the scene and was not impaired. She cooperated with the investigators.

The crash closed all the northbound lanes of the North Freeway at West Road.

The police are investigating the crash.
