9 Injured After Car Crashes into Little Kitchen HTX Restaurant in Jersey Village

Jersey Village, Texas – Nine people were critically injured Saturday afternoon after a car crashed into a restaurant in Jersey Village, according to the Jersey Village Police Department.

The crash happened around 12:20 p.m., May 4, at the Little Kitchen HTX.

Police said an elderly woman crashed into the restaurant where several families were dining. Officers believe she showed up to eat and confused the gas pedal for the brakes.

A female was airlifted to the hospital for treatment. Three other people were taken to the hospital by ambulance while five others were treated by EMS personnel.

The police are investigating the crash.
