Ernest McLemore ID’d as Bicyclist Killed in Waco Crash at S. 18th Street and Connor Avenue

Waco, Texas (October 27, 2022) – Authorities have identified the bicyclist who died after he was hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in Waco as 31-year-old Ernest McLemore.

The crash happened at around 9:08 p.m. Wednesday, October 26 near S. 18th Street and Connor Avenue.

McLemore was riding his bicycle when he was hit by a 2018 Ford Expedition.

McLemore was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The Ford driver stopped at the scene and was cooperative, police said.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided. The accident remains under investigation.
