Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on SH-99 and Telge Road
Houston, Texas (May 26, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday morning in Houston, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 3:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25 on SH-99 and Telge Road.
According to the authorities, the man and his wife ran out of gas. The husband got out of the car and tried to flag someone down for help. Moments later, the man was hit by an F-150.
The man, who has not been identified pending notification of family, was declared dead at the scene.
The F-150 driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
