Alejandro Banda Killed in San Juan Two-Vehicle Crash at Old San Juan Road and Las Milpas Road

San Juan, Texas (November 12, 2021) – One person was killed, and two others were injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in San Juan, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 3:15 p.m., November 11, at the intersection of Las Milpas Road and Old San Juan Road.

DPS said a Ford F-250 was traveling westbound on Las Milpas Road while a Chevrolet Blazer was traveling northbound on Old San Juan Road.

The Chevrolet disregarded the stop sign and collided with the Ford.

Alejandro Banda, 65, of Edinburg, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
