Anthony James Jones Killed in Somerville Train Accident at County Road 423 and Taylor Road

Somerville, Texas (September 14, 2019) – A man was killed on Friday in a train accident near Somerville, according to the state troopers.

The crash occurred on Friday, September 13, at County Road 423 and Taylor Road.

Authorities said Anthony James Jones, 51, of Bryan, was driving his semi-truck across the tracks when he was hit by a northbound train.

Jones was killed in the crash.
