89-Year-Old Audrey Wiggington Killed, Ezequiel Lopez-Becerra Injured in Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 191

Midland County, Texas (January 31, 2020) – A man was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Midland County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash was reported around 11:17 a.m. January 29, on Highway 191.

Troopers said the driver of a Ford pickup failed to control their speed and rear-ended a Dodge pickup driven by Audrey Wiggington, 89, of Midland.

Wiggington was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver, Ezequiel Lopez-Becerra, was taken to Medical Center Hospital for treatment.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
