Male Bicyclist Injured in Abilene Accident on Winters Freeway 

Abilene, Texas (August 22, 2023) – A man was hit by a vehicle while walking his bicycle Monday afternoon in Abilene, according to the police.

The accident happened around 1:30 p.m., August 21, in the northbound lanes of Winters Freeway near the exchange with Hwy 83/84.

Police said the man was walking his bicycle across the freeway when he was struck by a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
