31-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Westheimer Road

Houston, Texas (November 19, 2022) – A 31-year-old man was killed Saturday evening in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:45 p.m., November 12, in the 5900 block of Westheimer Road.

Police said the man was crossing the road outside of a crosswalk when he failed to yield to traffic and was struck by an eastbound red truck.

The truck driver fled the scene after the accident.

The man was thrown onto a gray Nissan Altima, and when the Altima stopped, the man was thrown and was struck by another vehicle that also fled the scene.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Nissan driver, a 41-year-old man, showed no signs of impairment and was questioned and released.
