Emory Sayre Hit, Killed by School Bus on Canyon Creek Circle in Parker County

6-Year-Old Emory Sayre Killed in Parker County Pedestrian Accident on Canyon Creek Circle

Parker County, Texas (April 26, 2022) – A 6-year-old Brock Independent School District student died after being struck by a school bus Monday afternoon in Parker County, according to authorities.

The deadly crash occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, in the 400 block of Canyon Creek Circle.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the bus was traveling southeast on Canyon Creek Circle. The bus reportedly stopped and off loaded several students.

As the bus began moving, one of the students, a 6-year-old girl, was hit by the bus.

The girl was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. She has been identified as Emory Sayre.

No other students were hurt.

Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
