Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash at Ronald Reagan Boulevard and CR 239 in Williamson County

One Killed in Williamson County Bicycle Accident at Ronald Reagan Boulevard and County Road 239

Williamson County, Texas (August 30, 2020) – A bicyclist was killed Sunday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Williamson County, according to authorities.

The deadly accident occurred at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and County Road 239.

Deputies said the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle at the intersection.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The bicyclist was killed in the crash.

The authorities are looking for the suspect, who was described as a Hispanic male, about 5″8 to 5″10, thin build and wearing a red and white t-shirt. Anyone who sees someone matching that description in the area is urged not to approach the man but instead call 9-1-1.

People were asked to avoid the area.

An investigation is underway.
