Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Scyene Road in East Dallas

One Killed in East Dallas Bicycle Accident on Scyene Road

Dallas, Texas (March 12, 2020) – A bicyclist was killed Wednesday night in an alleged hit-and-run accident in East Dallas, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident took place around 10:51 p.m. on March 11, in the 6600 block of Scyene Road.

Police said a bicyclist was riding westbound when they were hit by a vehicle.

The bicyclist was declared dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.

The involved driver fled the scene after the accident. The vehicle was described as a gray or tan pickup truck.

An investigation into the crash is underway. Anyone with information about the suspect driver is urged to contact Dallas PD and reference incidents 048458-2020 and 048459-2020.
