Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run on Greenridge Drive in Houston

64-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Bicycle Accident on Greenridge Drive

Houston, Texas (March 14, 2023) – A 64-year-old man was killed early Monday morning in a hit-and-run bicycle accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 4:20 a.m., March 12, in the 3400 block of Greenridge Drive.

Police said the man was riding his bicycle northbound when he was struck by an unknown northbound vehicle.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver fled the scene after the accident. The wanted driver was in a blue-colored vehicle that sideswiped an unoccupied car parked on the side of the street before hitting the bicyclist.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with information on the wanted driver and vehicle is urged to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4072 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
