Daniel Siller Killed, Cooper Jacobs Injured in Car Crash on US 67 near Santa Anna

Daniel Siller Killed and Cooper Jacobs Injured in Santa Anna Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 67

Santa Anna, Texas – One person was killed and another was injured on Saturday in a two-vehicle crash, just 4 miles east of Santa Anna, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around midnight, March 16, on US Highway 67.

According to the report, a 2011 Ford F250 was traveling westbound when a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 entered the highway and was rear-ended by the Ford.

The Ford driver, 57-year-old Daniel Siller Jr. of Santa Anna, was taken to Coleman County Medical Center where he later died. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The Dodge driver, 19-year-old Cooper Cash Jacobs, also from Santa Anna, was taken to Coleman County Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries. He was also wearing a seatbelt.

 The weather conditions were cloudy but the road was dry.

The crash remains under investigation.
