Man Killed in Carrollton Pedestrian Accident on President George Bush Turnpike near Josey Lane

Carrollton, Texas (January 6, 2021) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Sunday night in Carrollton, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident occurred around 8:00 p.m., January 3, in the westbound lanes of President George Bush Turnpike near Josey Lane.

According to the report, the man had been involved in a crash on the highway and was walking outside of his vehicle when he was struck by a pickup truck.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The pickup truck driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The Texas DPS is investigating the crash.
