Child Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Crash on Upland Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (August 20, 2019) – A child was struck and injured by a vehicle on Monday afternoon in Lubbock, according to a police report.

The incident happened at about 2 p.m. Monday, August 19, in the 800 block of Upland Avenue.

Police said a 10-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle near the Terra Vista Middle School of the Frenship Independent School District.

The victim was hospitalized with moderate-to-major injuries.

No further details were released.

The crash is under investigation.
