1 Seriously Injured in Lower Valley Bicycle Accident at Alameda Avenue and Fresno Drive

Lower Valley, Texas (October 2, 2019) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident early Wednesday morning in Lower Valley, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 2:06 a.m. at the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Fresno Drive near the former Cadwallader Elementary School.

Police said the bicyclist was hit for unknown reasons by a car at the intersection.

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed following the crash.

The Special Traffic Investigation Unit is conducting the investigation.
