Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Maurine Street in Wichita Falls

One Injured in Wichita Falls Motorcycle Accident on Maurine Street and Central Freeway

Wichita Falls, Texas (April 13, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured Monday night in a hit-and-run crash in Wichita Falls, according to police.

The accident happened on April 12, at the intersection of Maurine Street and Central Freeway.

Police said a motorcycle was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection when a truck swerved into its lane and hit it.

The truck dragged the motorcycle for a short distance, causing it to catch fire.

The truck then fled the scene.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The police are looking for the truck, which was described as a white Ford F-150.

No further details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
