Two Men Injured Fort Worth Electrical Accident on Throckmorton Street

Fort Worth, Texas (January 12, 2020) – Two workers were injured in an electrical accident Saturday afternoon in downtown Fort Worth, according to officials.

The accident was reported around 1:40 p.m. on January 11, at 100 Throckmorton Street.

Officials said two men were working on an electrical panel in the basement of a garage on a downtown building when the panel arced.

Both men sustained flash burns to their faces and arms from an electrical shock and were airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. 

An investigation into the accident is underway.
