Katie Marie Burch Killed in Killeen Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 195

Killeen, Texas (June 22, 2020) – Two people were killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Killeen, according to police.

The fatal crash occurred around 4:40 p.m. on June 20, on State Highway 195.

According to a preliminary investigation, a Toyota Sienna van was stopped at a stop sign attempting to turn left onto SH 195. The Toyota failed to yield-right of way-stop sign to the Dodge, and the Dodge struck the left side of the Toyota.

The Toyota driver, Amanda Dawn Dixon Williams, 40, and the back right passenger, Katie Marie Burch, 15, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Another passenger in the Toyota was taken to Baylor Scott and White in stable condition.  

The driver and passenger in Dodge were treated and released at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
