Odessa Pilot Injured in Plane Crash in Glasscock County

76-Year-Old Odessa Man Injured in Glasscock County Plane Crash near FM 461

Glasscock County, Texas (January 30, 2020) – A 76-year-old Odessa pilot was injured in a plane crash Wednesday evening in Glasscock County, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 5:15 p.m., January 29, about 2 miles west of FM 461.

Authorities said the pilot was returning back from Abilene when his twin-engine aircraft crashed.

The pilot who was the only one on board was taken to Midland Memorial in stable condition.

The FAA is investigating the crash.
