76-Year-Old Man Killed in Central Laredo Pedestrian Accident at San Dario and Lafayette

Laredo, Texas (April 23, 2023) – A 76-year-old Laredo man was killed early Friday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Central Laredo, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened just after 6:00 a.m., April 21, at the corner of San Dario and Lafayette.

Police said the man was trying to cross the street when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information or who knows the hit-and-run driver is asked to call Laredo Police at 956-795-2800.
