Bill Darling Struck, Killed by Truck on US 69 in Lindale

Lindale, Texas – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a truck Friday night in Lindale, according to Lindale Police Department.

The deadly accident happened around 8:15 p.m., April 19, on US Highway 69 in front of the McDonald’s.

Police said Bill Darling, 60, of Oregon, was walking across the highway while it was raining when a large southbound truck hit him.

Darling was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
