Brandon Boone Killed in East Austin Pedestrian Accident on Johnny Morris Road

Austin, Texas (June 7, 2023) – The man who was fatally hit by two pickup trucks on Labor Day in East Austin has been identified as 43-year-old Brandon L. Boone, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:13 a.m., on Monday, May 29, in the 7100 block of Johnny Morris Road.

Police said Boone was struck by two pickup trucks and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers remained at the scene and were not impaired. They cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
