Child Killed in East Travis County Two-Vehicle Crash at Decker Lane and Loyola Lane

Travis County, Texas (September 16, 2022) – A child was killed Sunday evening in a two-vehicle crash in East Travis County, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 5:00 p.m., September 11, at the intersection of Decker Lane and Loyola Lane near the Travis County Expo Center.

Police said a four-door sedan was traveling northbound on Decker Lane while a Chevrolet van was traveling southbound.

The sedan attempted to turn left onto Loyola Lane and was struck by the van.

The three people in the sedan, including a child, were taken to the hospital, where the child later died.

The van driver was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

Both drivers were not impaired at the time of the crash.
