Child Injured in Houston Bicycle Accident on Grant Road and Canyon Rose Lane

Houston, Texas (October 17, 2023) – A child riding a bicycle was injured after being struck by an SUV on Tuesday morning in Houston, according to authorities.

The crash happened at about 7:13 a.m. in the 10199 block of Grant Road and Canyon Rose Lane.

Authorities said the kid was riding a bicycle on the roadway when a white Ford SUV hit the child.

Medical personnel responded to the scene and rendered aid to the child. The extent of the injuries was not immediately available.

Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
