Constable Robert Holder Injured in Wharton County Two-Vehicle Crash near U.S. 59 and Carroll Road

Wharton County, Texas (September 1, 2022) – Two people, including a Wharton County Constable Pct. 3, were injured on Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash in Wharton County, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on August 30, near U.S. 59 and Carroll Road.

Authorities said the truck of Robert Holder, a Wharton County constable Pct. 3, was rear-ended by another vehicle.

Holder was taken to a Houston hospital for treatment. The other driver was also taken to a Houston hospital for treatment.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
