1 Killed in Pedestrian Crash on North Freeway in Houston

One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Freeway (I-45)

Houston, Texas (April 25, 2023) – According to the police, a person was killed early Saturday morning in a pedestrian accident in Houston.

The deadly accident happened around 2:25 a.m., April 22, in the 5800 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45).

Police said a red Ford C-Max was traveling southbound on the freeway when he struck a male pedestrian who was attempting to cross the freeway.

The male was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Ford driver remained at the scene, where he was questioned, and did not show any signs of intoxication.

The police are investigating the crash.
