Danny Ireton Killed and Allon Carby Injured in Stanton Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 829

Stanton, Texas (August 7, 2021) – According to a local news source, a Stanton volunteer firefighter was killed, and another was seriously injured on Wednesday in a traffic accident involving a semi-truck in Stanton.

The fatal crash happened on August 4, on FM 829.

According to the report, firefighters Danny Ireton, 60, and Allan Carby were responding to a crash when their apparatus collided with an 18-wheeler.

Ireton was pronounced dead at the scene. Carby was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and was listed in stable condition.

The authorities are conducting the investigation.
