Meagan Roiter ID’d as Pregnant Woman Killed in Fort Worth Crash at State Highway 121 and North Sylvania Avenue; Victor Medina-Ramirez Sought

Fort Worth, Texas (October 11, 2023) – The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the pregnant woman who died following a hit-and-run crash late last month in Fort Worth as Meagan Roiter, 30.

The deadly crash happened just before 12:30 a.m. on September 24 at the intersection of State Highway 121 and North Sylvania Avenue.

Police said a vehicle collided with another vehicle occupied by several passengers.

Roiter, who was one of the occupants in the second vehicle, was declared dead at the scene. Two people in the second vehicle sustained not life-threatening and were transported to a hospital.

The driver of the first vehicle fled the scene on foot. The suspect, identified as Victor Manuel Medina-Ramirez, 27, is currently being sought by authorities.

Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
