Six Injured in Cottondale Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 51 and FM 2123

Cottondale, Texas (November 24, 2023) – Six people were injured on Thanksgiving afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in Cottondale, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 3:40 p.m., November 23, at the intersection of Farm Roads 51 and 2123.

Authorities said two sedans were involved in the crash.

Two people were airlifted to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth. One of the victims was in critical condition and the other was in serious condition.

Another person was taken by ground ambulance to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth in serious condition.

Three other people were taken by ground ambulance to Wise Health System in Decatur in stable condition.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
