Dennis Harrington Injured in Lamesa Plane Crash at Lamesa Airport

Lamesa, Texas (January 18, 2022) – A pilot was injured Friday night in a plane crash near Lamesa, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened around 7:18 p.m., January 14, at the Lamesa airport.

DPS said Dennis Harrington, 70, was flying from Addison, TX to Hobbs, NM, when he attempted to refuel at the airport. He lost control of the plane and crash-landed.

Harrington sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No other information was available.

An investigation is underway.
