One Critically Injured in Austin Pedestrian Accident at Northeast Drive and Springdale Road

Austin, Texas (April 2, 2022) – One person was critically injured early Saturday morning in a pedestrian accident in east Austin, according to the authorities.

The accident happened around 2:20 a.m., at the intersection of Northeast Drive and Springdale Road.

Authorities said a person was struck by a vehicle at the intersection.

The victim was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
