Driver Killed After Car Rear-Ends Metro Bus at Bissonnet and Bonhomme in Houston

Driver Killed, Child Injured in Houston Crash at Bissonnet Street and Bonhomme Road

Houston, Texas (April 13, 2023) – A driver died after crashing into the back of a Metro bus Wednesday afternoon in Houston, according to authorities.

The deadly crash happened at about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Bissonnet and Bonhomme.

Reportedly, the bus had stopped to allow passengers on and off when it was rear-ended by a car.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.  A child in the car was transported to a hospital in an unknown condition.

No other injuries were reported.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
