Elementary Student Injured in Hawkins School Bus Crash on Highway 14

Hawkins, Texas (August 10, 2022) – According to officials, an elementary school student was injured on Tuesday in a school bus crash in Hawkins.

The crash occurred on August 9, on Highway 14.

Officials said a Hawkins Independent School District bus collided with a Hyundai in front of the school.

There were ten students on the bus at the time of the crash, and one of them, a girl, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The condition of the Hyundai’s driver was not disclosed.

An investigation is underway.
