Elizabeth Garcia ID’d as Woman Killed in Burleson County Crash on Highway 36 near Frenstat Road

Burleson County, Texas (February 12, 2023) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the woman who died on Saturday morning in a traffic accident in Burleson County as Elizabeth Garcia, 24, of Galveston.

The deadly crash took place on Highway 36, just north of Frenstat Road, on Saturday, February 11.

DP said one vehicle tried to make an unsafe pass on the highway and hit an 18-wheeler. A third vehicle involved hit debris and was damaged.

Garcia died in the crash.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
