One Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Stone Oak Parkway; Genesis Boyd Arrested

San Antonio, Texas (November 29, 2020) – The woman who caused a serious crash last month in San Antonio has been arrested, according to authorities.

The crash happened on October 1, in the 18700 block of Stone Oak Parkway, near the Cornerstone Church.

Police said Genesis Boyd, 23, was driving at a high rate of speed when she crashed into a truck.

The force of the impact caused the truck to spin out of control towards the church’s parking lot before bursting into flames.

The truck driver sustained a broken back.

Boyd told officers that she had four vodka beverages before the crash. She was arrested and is facing a 3rd-degree felony charge for Intoxication Assault.

An investigation is underway.
