Woman Killed in Conroe Motorcycle Crash on FM 1484 near Ike White Road

Conroe, Texas (July 2, 2021) – A woman in her 50s was killed, and another was injured Wednesday night in a head-on collision in Conroe, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:37 p.m., June 30, on FM 1484 near Ike White Road.

Police said a 28-year-old man was driving a 2014 Chevrolet 2500 work vehicle on the highway when he crossed into an oncoming lane and crashed head-on into a Harley-Davidson ridden by a woman in her 50s.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released. Her female passenger was taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe, where she underwent surgery. Both victims were wearing their helmets at the time of the crash.

The crash closed FM 1484 until midnight.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
